Anheddau Celebrates its 20th Birthday

In October 2009 Anheddau celebrated it's 20th birthday, and relocation of it's Registered Office, with an Open Day.

Hywel Williams MP formally opened the event with Brian Jones (Chair) and Janetta Jones (CEO) addressing the audience.

Ellena Hughes, (Annedd Ni Day Service Manager), gave a presentation on the work of Annedd Ni. Everyone had the oppportunity to visit Annedd Ni to experience the activities first hand.

Lynne Hughes, who has worked for Anheddau for twenty years, was presented with a bouqet of flowers.

Opening of Learning and Development Suite

In November 2009 Jane Hutt (AM) opened the Learning and Development Suite.

Donna Hutton (Unison) and Brian Jones (Chair) addressed the audience to mark the formal opening and formally recognise Anheddau's committment to staff development and lifelong learning.

Employees were presented with certificates for management training that they had completed.

Investor in People Milestone

Anheddau has been awarded a certificate to endorse maintaining its Investor in People status for 10 years or more. This is a fantastic achievement demonstrating an ongoing dedication to people and a committment to continous business improvement. Anheddau joins a select group of just over 3,000 organiations UK wide, representing business of all sizes and sectors.

Anheddau looks forward to working towards 15 years of achievement in 2011.
