Anheddau prioritises the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of both service users and staff by ensuring that all staff have the appropriate training and safety information to enable them to deliver support in the safest way possible, thus reducing the amount of accidents and incidents that occur within the workplace. This can be seen by the small amount of RIDDOR reportable injuries that occur each year. To date there have been 2 reportable injuries in 2016 and 6 in 2015.
The Health and Safety within Anheddau consists of Hilary Cardwell the Health and Safety Manager who is a member of IOSH and has a certificate in Health and Safety NEBOSH and Fire Safety NEBOSH.
Anheddau has just recently received a Gold Award in The Corporate Standard Health at Work which was given by the Welsh Government.
