Position
within the Council of Management:
Brian
is the Chair of the Council of Management and Chair of the Executive
Board.
Full
Time Employment:
Brian is employed full time by the University of Wales, Bangor
as a Lecturer in Strategic Management and Public Administration.
He represents the University worldwide.
Professional
interests:
Whilst following a career in the private sector, Brian developed
an interest in Organization and Methods, he moved to local government
as a Management Services Officer. An increasing focus on Management
and Organizational Development led to work in Strategic HRM, Management
Development and Organizational Change. His main interests lie
in the fields of strategic management, regional economic development
and public administration.
He
is currently researching factors creating competitive advantage
at regional and sub-regional levels.
He
has qualifications and membership of various professional bodies
to include MSc, DMS, MMS.
